Hi,

I am looking up to some MBA programs at different Canadian universities. After going through different online blogs/forums I came up with few questions. I know these questions might be answered number of times but I could not find it over here. Can someone please help me with these questions. Below are my questions.

1) If I study from any university in Quebec province. Do I still qualify for permanent residency programs such as CEC/PNP? If so do I need to stay in Quebec only if I am awarded permanent residency?
2) If I study from any university in Quebec province then am I at some disadvantage while applying for permanent residency?

Thanks a lot in advacne!!!

Cheers

Yes you do as long as you have moved outside of Quebec while applying for CEC to show intent you are not planning to live in Quebec

No disadvantage.. as long as you move out of Quebec it should be fine as far as CEC is concerned.. the only disadvantage is.. if u do MBA from non-Quebec province then you can qualify for regional PNP program adding 600 points to your EE application.

Thanks mesumrizvi for prompt reply.

I have another question, what type of skills/jobs are categorized under skilled labor. I was going through CIC website and per web site below is the definition of skilled work experience
=============================================================================================
Skilled work experience
According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:

->Managerial jobs (NOC skill type 0)
->Professional jobs (NOC skill type A)
->Technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B)
=============================================================================================

Where can I find more details(what all jobs are covered under each) of job types listed above?

Thank you!!

you wont need NOC codes later if u r an MBA grad with PNP approval.. however, if u study and then work for one year.. n then apply for CEC category under EE then you would hv to worry about NOC..

you can find more NOC code details below.
