Hi there,
I'm currently applying from the UK for a 24 month IEC visa in Canada. I've received my invitation to reply and all of my documents are prepared and uploaded except for my Police Certificate, which was requested from Acro on Thursday 17th Jan. Typically, given the 10 working days and time for shipping, I don't except my certificate to arrive until Monday 4th Feb; which is the exact day of my application deadline. I'm quite eager to get the ball rolling and understand the Canadian IEC website allows you to send your application in with simply proof/receipt of the police certificate and the full document will be later requested. My question is, when the document is requested -- what given deadline is typical? For example, I don't want to send my application today and find I've shot myself in the foot if they request the police certificate even earlier than what they would have done if I'd waited.
Thanks
