Question Regarding PCC Application

Hi Everyone

I sent my application on September 12, 2014 for PCC (Police Clearance Certificate). I have read on the forum that many applicants got it with in one week while others didn't got it after 4 -5 weeks too

My question is about tracking status. it shows Application Status Processing at Consulate General. Does it mean it's in India? and if it is so then how much time it will take after this step.

This status doesnt mean its in India....next status change will be in transit to BLS...

Now how much time it will take to have that status ...hmm ...tough to say but on avg its 2-4 weeks ....

Today my application status changed to In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre

How much time it will take now to get the result?

Should not take you more than a week to get in your mailbox if you have opted for home delivery of the letter. Congratulations you are one step closer now
