Hey guys,
Bit of a tricky question regarding the Employment pay stubs.
I am working with a consulting agency(ABC) for last 5 years in US and was working full time on a project with their client. However, the project ended on November 2nd and I am currently looking for a new project. I am still on payroll of ABC company but as I do not have any project on hand, they pay me very little to be on the bench like 1/3rd of what I used to get before.
Now, for employment, it was advised to attached past six months pay stubs along with the Reference letter. I have retrieved Reference letter from my employer stating full time employee since 2011 and working 40 hours per week.
I will be submitting my application in Beginning of January 2017, but with pay stubs of the month December(paid for the month of November) being so miniscule, do you think it would act as a deterrent in my application?
I had few ideas as a solution:
1. When I am on the bench, agencies ask us to fill in a vacation form so to show IRS that I am still working with them . I can use that vacation form to depict that I was on vacation for last two months and hence was paid less?
2. My employer can write another letter stating my end date of client contract on Nov 2nd and I can show pay stubs til that date. And show next two months in Personal history as on the bench?
3. Just write in LOE that I was on vacation last two months as it was a holiday season and was spending time with family and hence was paid less. I can provide 6 months paystubs from July til November.
I do meet the criteria of 3 years of experience but just confused Undecided with Pay slips as the amount I received in the december for last months work in negligible.
Please advise guys!
