Question regarding pathway from Closed Work Permit to PR

Hi,

I am in Canada on an LMIA based work permit through General Talent Stream. The Employer is based in Ontario and I have already started the job. I would like to know:

- how "OINP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream" works and is there a way I can opt for it now?
- Do i still need to score 470-480 to get NOI in this category?

Context: Job market is volatile and I am looking to secure a PR with added LMIA points as soon as possible.

1) You can apply for a nomination now provided you meet the requirements. Have you spoken with your employer about completing the Employer Form and providing the documents they need to as part of your application? This is mandatory. Without your employer's participation, this PNP stream will not be doable for you.
2) This is not an Express Entry stream. So no, you do not need 470-480 points.
