Question regarding marital status change

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding marital status change.

If someone receives ITA, he still has 90 days to submit e-APR. What happens if he gets married after submitting the e-APR? I have read the instructions in the following URL under ( Change in circumstance declared after an e-APR has been submitted)

For example, if an applicant marries before they submit their e-APR but informs CIC of the marriage only after they submit their e-APR, the marriage can be taken into account as part of the section A11.2 assessment.

If, however, an applicant marries after they submit their e-APR, then informs CIC of the marriage, the marriage cannot be taken into account as part of the section A11.2 assessment. However, the change in circumstance may affect whether the applicant still meets the program requirements. See below for details.
But I still do not understand what do they mean with "the marriage cannot be taken into account as part of the section A11.2 assessment". Can someone please elaborate?

Thank you in advance

If you get married after submitting your eAPR your points won't get recalculated and you will simply have to update IRCC with your spouse's PCC, medical, POF (if applicable) and other forms.

Thank you for your reply. So it's best to submit e-APR then get married, that way the points will not be recalculated right? There are no restrictions or other special requirements for this? like should I wait certain amount of time after submiting e-APR before getting married?

Yes, if you get married now and update your application your points WILL get recalculated and if you fall below the cutoff score your application will get rejected.

That's why you should get married after submitting your eAPR.

Whether there are any restrictions that I do not know.

Thank you again.
One last question, when you say "If you get married after submitting your eAPR your points won't get recalculated", you mean only after completing the e-APR forms? or also after getting all documents and submitting them?
