Question regarding language teat result for citizenship application

Hello everyone,
I have a query for someone who is applying for canadian citizenship. She is from India and to apply for the citizenship she needs to submit proof that she can speak and listen at the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) Level 4 or higher in English. Just wanted to know if her secondary school exam result from
India (CBSE)
showing she scored 70 out of 100 in English exam is enough or she needs to give an general ielts or celpip exam ??

That may not be sufficient. If in doubt, do the IELTS.

It worked for my spouse, but we also got a letter from the school that the medium of instruction is in English. We also submitted her masters degree from India as well. She also was working since we landed.
I think it really depends on her overall profile. Does she work in Canada (which would imply that she knows English to some extent). And finally the call is taken by the interviewer.

This states that the "program" must be in English or French, not just a single examination result.

HI,

I did not take any English language test but I studied English 11 and 12 here. I asked my school to give me a letter and I will be including my grades as well (I got a B for both). Will that suffice?
