Question regarding extension?

I am concerned about my study permit extension, I came Canada for 1 year study and I changed it to 2 year. Now my question is my previous field is electronics technician and I changed it to hotel management. Will it affect my extension and also in first semester I failrd in one subject, will it also affect on extension. I am waiting for your response regarding this situation.

I have the same problem, My previous field is physiotherapy and I changed to Licensed practical nurse. I have to extend my visa this summer, and I am concerned about this.

Could anyone help us?
