Hi All,

I have a quick question regarding the E-CAS notification. A few weeks ago my status changed to "In-Process". After clicking this you see xxxxx application has begun processing on 18th Jan.

My question being, other people who have had their status change have also seen under this a line saying their medical have been received. Should I be worried that mine doesnt say this? I went for the medical before submitting my application (I attached the proof of medical form as instructed). I was told by the doctor that it would get forwarded to the London office within 2 weeks.

No, dont worry at all... some people get medicals recvd notice... some dont... ecas is kinda unreliable that way.

My file didnt get updated to medicals received until after they requested passport.

My file didnt get updated to Decision made until after visa was put in passport and handed back.

its all good....

Thanks Kc416, thats good to hear. Guess I will just have to wait, and assume they have everything unless I hear from them directly, and not place as much importance on E-CAS.

At least you know they have the file and that it is in process! They will def. contact you if they require any further documents etc.

I found ecas to be NO use to me at all..... i wish i had some updates during my process... any bit of update gives you that extra bit of hope and can be quite exciting!

Good Luck!

Exactly, updates break up the wait and gives an indication of how the application is progressing. Going by some of the forum members timelines, London seems to be going through applications pretty fast at the moment, so am hoping it goes through speedily with no probs, heres hoping anyways.
