Question Regarding Common Law

Hello,

I am planning to apply for EE however I am getting married October this year, should I apply now for EE or wait after the marriage?
If I apply now, can I declare my partner as common law even though we do not live together?
Can my country's embassy receipt (declaring I will be married on October) be a proof of common law partnership?

If you don't live together, you are not common law. There is a lot of paperwork involved to prove common law. It's far easier to upload a marriage certificate.

If you get married before ITA, you will need to consider your points with your wife. If you get married after eAPR, your points won't be recalculated but you need to submit PCC, medical and proof of funds for your wife.

My spouse Got ITA on 5th April 2017. I am not accompanying her. This information I am mentioning in EE profile; pre & post ITA.
Is CIC will raise red flag for this?

It won't. Just make sure your wife submits your PCC, medical and proof of funds for you.
