Hello all,
First of all, thank you so much for the valuable contribution everybody is making ! It helps a lot of people (like me ) to properly submit the paper work. This will be my first post so please pardon me in advance.
Now, I am preparing my application to apply for Canadian Citizenship sometime by the end of this month (April) in Toronto. I am already over my 1095 days (have more than a month as a buffer). My situation is that during the last few years I have travelled a lot to Saudi Arabia and USA to see my family and I am afraid that that factor alone might trigger the RQ. That being said, I am planning to play safe and provide some additional supporting documents along with my application for better credibility to minimize the risk of the RQ. I am planning to attach following additional documents :
1. Attach a cover letter. This is to clarify that my daughter currently doesn't accompany me and her school transcripts are from USA.
2. Attach travel history from CBSA (Already received it and I am also going to authorize CIC to pull the report from CBSA should they desire)
3. Attach travel history from USA CBP (Applied for it sometime end of Feb 2013 and I am expecting it soon)
4. Attach my Canadian college education transcripts for Language evidence.
5. Attach IELTS score report for Language evidence. (I took the test in 2008 for the PR application and I have read somewhere that the test score used for PR is also valid for Citizenship application?)
6. Attach my employment letters from my current and past employers.
My question is that am i going overboard with all the additional supporting documents or would it help ? Should I just keep it simple and submit ONLY the documents they have asked for ? Please let me know which additional documents from the above list would be beneficial or useless to submit along with my application. Any help/feedback will be appreciated !
