Hello

Another quick question from me! 8)

In 2003 I lived for 9 months in the Netherlands. This was part of a foreign exchange program with my home (UK) university. Will I need to get a police check for this period? I'm not sure the police will even have details that I was living in the country and it looks like getting a report from the Netherlands Police may prove problematic.

Thanks

yes you'll need one

NL police wont care if they have a record of you or not. The certificate is to show they dont have any criminal convictions against you

Hi,

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/netherlands.asp

As you have stayed more than 6 months , you must provide the Police Certificate.

Above link explains you how to obtain the certificate.
