I have contacted an old employer (a large US bank with a centralised HR function) and have received a reference letter as follows:

This it to confirm that [my name] was employed by [company] between [dates].

At the time of leaving, [my name] held the position of [title].

We can confirm that [my name] performed the following roles [various job roles related to NOC].

His final basic salary was [salary].

Limitation of liability etc.

I have a few questions:

1. Is this wording sufficient?
2. I have received this letter by pdf (electronically signed). Is a print out of this letter sufficient?
3. I don't have anything else (business card etc). Is this likely to be a problem?

Thanks

I guess if it's on official letterhead and signed plus contact details of the bank then that would be ok ..
Wording should be fine... Does it mention number of working hours just to confirm working on full time basis
Any extra documentation u can get like past salary slips or business cards would always be helpful... Proving sufficient work experience is an integral part of your application so make extra sure it is complete
