Question on the new US temporary VISA Category by Province of Alberta

If one applied under Federal Skilled worker category and specified intended province of stay say Ontario and his application is returned (not eligible for processing) because of NOC mismatch. Then if the person applies again under the AINP's US temporary VISA Category, will they reject his application because in previous application he mentioned intended Province of Residence as Ontario (even if it was just a random choice)?

Your application will not be rejected. You will be nominated by Alberta so the application to CIC will be base on your nomination and this has nothing to do with FSW.

Thank you rascojenkins for the reply. I am actually more concerned about Alberta's assessment than CIC. In the AINP application they ask "Have you, your spouse/common-law partner, or any of your dependent children, already submitted an Application for Permanent Residence in Canada to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)?"

Should I answer Yes, even though my application was considered ineligible for processing? AINP 009A also asks specific questions on previously submitted applications like Intended Province of Residence. I had given Ontario randomly in my previous application to FSW (few months back), then will it be a negative factor for Alberta to consider me serious enough to move into Alberta?

Not a problem...just don't forget to answer YES to the question "have you ever applied for canada before?" (or something like that)...someone got rejected because the applicant answered no, and he had a fsw before....

that was the question I was talking about..answer yes...since you had applied before..it will not be negative (they may even like, since you were interested on the country before)....if you put "no" they will discover and you will be rejected..someone in this forum was rejected because of that..and then you can say bye bye to all chances....

Thank you Akk for clearing this big doubt. I am under one more confusion. Once before my wife had applied under FSW and her application was approved in 2003. But she was not able to immigrate due to various circumstances. Should I mention about my wife's application that was already APROVED in the AINP form or should I write about my recently sent INELIGIBLE FOR PROCESSING application. The reason I have this doubt is because in 2003 my wife had given Alberta as intended province but recent one I randomly gave something else. Please share your thoughts. For immigration formalities in 2003 my wife landed in Vancouver to be eligible for the PR card but then returned to US to complete her studies and then she got job in USA. Now she has been more than 3 year outside Canada so previous PR card not eligible. Any guidance/ suggestions deeply appreciated.

My advise to you just be honest Tell them about it, cause even if you do not tell them they'll still find out and consider it misrepresentation CIC has you and your spouses previous application infors in their system .None of the above mentioned things will disturb your eligibility.

I agree with rascojenkins.
Although I don't think you have space to write all about that...when I applied it was yes or no question and that is it...but if the form changed you should explain the situation...

Thank You rascojenkins and Akk. Anyway, I am mentioning the recent ineligible application in the CIC form (photocopy of which would be sent to AINP) along with the one processed in 2003.

BTW what is ineligible for processing mean, does it mean rejection? I am not sure how strong this statement is. The question I have is which application takes more priority in the AINP form, a past processed application or an recently ineligible for processing application? Would it be considered misrepresentation if I wrote about the past processed application in the AINP form but they can always read the ineligible application details in the CIC photocopies. I don't intend to hide but just making sure best way to present. What is your suggestion?

better read this forum as well..

If your intended province is other than alberta in your previous FSW application then it might considered negetivly!!!!
