Question on Tax requirements

Hello All,

I am hoping to get an answer regarding tax filing requirements based on my personal situation.
I landed as PR in Sep 2016 and have filed my taxes for 2016 (no income) and 2017.
I would like to know if i will qualify for citizenship next year after filing the 2018 taxes once i satisfy the 1095 days requirement or I would need to wait another year for filing ?

Filling taxes have nothing to do with citizenship conditions. Apply when you accumulate enough days, and file taxes when you are required to file.

You must fill the taxes if you are required to file (you have income), if you didn’t have income then fill them anyway to get tax credit or benefits.
