Question on score validity

Hi
I would like score higher on IELTS in order to get more points on the Express entry system. My question is - if I re-take the IELTS, and the new score ends up being worse than the old, then can I still use the old score? Or, will the new score override the old one permanently?

Yes - you may use your old score instead of the new one
