Hi guys,
I'm sponsoring my wife to Canada from China.
I'm almost ready to send my file. However, when I was doing the final check I found out that there is a mistake on her household register("hukou") that her present address is wrong. It supposed to be Apt. 1-2-302, but I guess the officer miss-typed to Apt. 1-1-302. That results the translation is wrong too. Everything else is correct.
I've told her to contact them and try to get it changed but it might take a month for her to change it, translate and mail to me. With that strike going on I really don't wanna wait any longer to submit.
My question is can I just include a letter in my application saying I've noticed the mistake and is trying to correct it, and will send them the corrected one later? Or should I just wait....
PS: On the checklist, there is a note under Additional Famliy Information (IMM 5406) says: Your present address is the residential address where you and or your dependent are now physically living. It must be provided in both English and Chinese. If you do not provide an accurate residential address, it could result in the refusal of your application for misrepresentation.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Please help me!
