Hello All

I have a question about the issuance of the PR card. Following are my questions:

1. How long is the validity of the Right for permanaent residency visa?
2. After issuance of the right for permanent residency visa, how long do we have to land in the country and apply for PR card?
3. Does my wife need to accompany me to Canada to apply for PR card, or can I travel alone and apply on her behalf?

I appreciate your time.

Thank you

1. The validity of your PR visa is tied to the one year anniversary of your medicals.
2. Same as #1, you must travel before that date.
3. She must land, either with you or after you (assuming you're the PA) for her PR card to be processed.

Well said kuskus,
I will add one more thing to No. 3.
She must land, either with you or after you (assuming you're the PA) for her PR card to be processed... Plus before her medical expires (1 year from medical)

Best of luck
