Question on post graduation work permit

dear all,

This has been confusing me for a long time. I'm studying in a college diploma program at Seneca college. The program is said to be 4 terms (2 years), but actually I started from Sep 2017 and keep on studying, and will graduate by Dec 2018. There are four semesters but the total length is only 15-16 month. Is this case valid for 3 year open work permit?

I guess so. As long as the program is stated as 2-year-length, you should be granted w/ 3 year work permit
