Question on Medical exam and Legal Blindness

Thank you for taking time to read my question.

My Parents appeared for Medical examination in Canada today since they are on visitor extension, My mother is having vision problem and her vision is pretty weak. Last year she had cataract operation in India, In medical examination she appeared today, Doctor asked her to read few things which she failed to read properly, So doctor in the note/comments mentioned as " legally Blind. "

Since, My parents are currently on visitor extension in Canada and later on require new TRV to return to Canada in future. Does this vision related to issue and comment by doctor, going to have any major effect on getting my mother new TRV in future ? if anyone has any thoughts or have had similar experience and please can share.

In my opinion unlikely to be denied a TRV but may be an issue if they apply for PR.
