COPR's arrived this morning.
I rang the call center to try to make an appointment in Halifax CIC, to be told that they have 90 days to respond to the request, and that it can then be another 60 days for the appointment. If proceed with the appointment request, and then choose to go to the border. Officers at the border have taken to declining to do the landing, and requested that you wait for the appointment.
So we have chosen not to go with an appointment, but go to the border at St Stephen, NB.
The Letter states: 'At the time of your arrival you will be interviewed, and granted entry into Canada based on the information in the documents that we are providing to you no. Then each person will be asked to sign his or her document.'
So what documents do we need to take to the border: Passport, COPR forms, + what else might they need to see? We are currently on Visitors Visa, mine I have received, and we have the proof of posting for my husbands, so assume you need to take the proof of having a valid status?
