Question on Job under CEC

Hello All,

I have a question, I have received an ITA under CEC. I am working full time for a software company. I recently got an offer to work for a different company, but it is a 3 months contract full time, likely to be converted into Full time permanent after or before 3 months. If I take this offer, is it going to affect anything as I haven't uploaded all my documents yet for PR.

The way I see it, this doesn't make any material difference towards your program eligibility or CRS score so it shouldn't be a problem. I would go as far as to say if you switch to this job AFTER submitting your application, you don't even have to declare it to CIC. But that's just me.

Asivad Anac - So If I switch my job on July 27 and If I submit my file before that then technically I don't have to upload any documentation for that. What about after, do I have to notify CIC for that I have switched my Job??
One more question for CEC does it matter if it is a 3 month contract in the beginnig??

That is exactly what I meant. You have received your ITA on the basis of your past work experience and your future job has no bearing on your application processing unless that job is in another country/city and even in that case you have to notify CIC regarding change in your address. If this job doesn't require you to move to another city or out of Canada, you do not have to inform CIC about this and it won't make any difference to your program eligibility, CRS score or application processing.

One more question here, I am sure you replied it to a lot of ppl but just want to confirm that do you know how much proof of funds we have to show under CEC or Do we have to show under CEC? Is there nay limit?
When I made my profile, under POF, I put $5000. So I am not sure whether I have to show that much or I have to show more money.
I haven't find any post for CEC.
Please help.

CIC doesn't actually distinguish between CEC and FSW when it comes to the POF requirement. The only people genuinely exempt from POF requirements are the ones with an LMIA supported job offer.

Having said that, some CEC members have reported that they were able to successfully show lesser funds in the bank than the required POF amounts by supplementing that with their employment status, job offer mentioning the salary details, pay stubs, T4s etc. You can try doing that as well.
