Question on eliminating spouse’s education after ITA

Hi all,

I’ve received the ITA and I’m almost ready to submit my application but realized I haven’t translated my husband’s education docs related to his technical degree. He received just 7 pts for the draw , but we don’t need those points and would still be well over the threshold. My questions are:

1) What happens if I upload the diploma/transcript without a translation?
2) does he end up receiving any points at all without an ECA anyway?
3) can I upload instead a letter of explanation saying that because the points don’t add value to the application I’ve decided to forego the translation and the points?

OR should I just spend the hundreds so that everything matches thE express entry form?

thanks so much for your insight.

If your score is still over the threshold, just include an LOE about the missing translation.
