All,

I am currently working in Canada on an open work permit with a Canadian bank in a Full time position. I started this employment in Nov 2019, and this is my first employment in Canada.

During the recruitment process (I applied online on the bank portal), the only requirement was if I was legally permitted to work in Canada, which I satisfied since I have an open WP. Hence, there was no LMIA approval I believe.

I am now applying for a PR under EE (I have an Ontario PNP as well), what should I answer to the question - do you have a job offer in Canada? Since I am already working, I am not sure if I should answer Yes.
I will list this as my current job in the work experience section.

Let me know if my thinking is correct, and if I should answer 'No' to this question!

Regards,

S

No, you don't have a job offer. You would need an LMIA to say Yes.
