Hi I came here in Canada by student visa in August 2011 . I worked part time for eight month and full time for 4 months, then 1 month full time after completion of my study. I have completed my 1600 hours as required for federal skilled worker. Am I eligible as a federal skilled worker for permanent residence ?

What occupation was your experience in?

Hello

I may also apply this time as i was surprised that civil engineers are included, but there's something i don't understand in the documents to be submitted it's written in the guide as follow:

"If you have specified an occupation on your application that requires provincial/territorial licensing, and CIC has designated a professional body for that occupation, you must provide an original ECA report issued by the designated professional body indicating that your completed foreign educational credential is equivalent to the Canadian educational credential required to practice that occupation in one or more provinces or territories in Canada."

does this mean that we as "engineers", we need to contact the Engineer order in Canada to get an assessment beside the ECA report?!

hope i will find an answer here. Thank You :)
