Hi Seniors,

I have a question for employment history , My first employment was just for 1 month and even I did not mention my first employment in PR application forms and neither in any other immigration forms when I got PR so should I mention my first just 1 month employment in Citizenship forms ? or not ?as I did not mention in PR application forms and it was just for 1 month.

Please advice me. Thanks.

I kind of had a similar situation where I was working two jobs at once but only listed my main job on my PR application. When it came to the Citizenship application I listed both, because I figured that they're going to be able to look at my tax history and I had a T4 from both companies so they'll know about both jobs already.

It was a little bit tricky how to list it, and I was worried that it might be confusing for them because of the overlapping dates. But hopefully they figure it out OK. The main thing is not to leave any gaps in time, and you've gotta say you were doing something for that one month.

Is employment requirement for citizenship? and Are they too strict in employment history?

Being employed is not a requirement for Citizenship. However, you need to account for all your time spent in Canada truthfully, what exactly you were doing without any gaps.
