question before submitting

Hi Everyone,

I have a question and Ido not know what do do..So I ll appreciate if you can advice me.

I was in Canada last year, I stayed for a year on a visitor visa ( extended for the last 6 months) and I got married in Canadain October. Then we decided to apply outland since Ankara is faster. I prepared all the documents, photos, etc. and left them there, came back on middle of Julay 2013. My husband was supossed to prepare Option C and submit the application but there was a probem with the tax and we had to wait till now.

My question is, on some forms it is asked if i live with someone and I wrote I live with my husband in Canada. My residential address is my Canada address but my mailing address is my recent address in Turkey, I wrote thet because I knew I ll come back. Anyways, should I re-prepare all the documents with the updates or it s not necessary? I also validated the forms. If Ineed to update the forms, is it possible to fill a new one and validate again.

Please give me some advice, even the thought of preparing all the documents makes me crazy! By the way, on my letter I stated that I will be going back to Turkey on July 2013 ( before my visa expiry date) and apply outland. Do you think that would be enough?

Awaiting to hear any commends,
Thanks in advance!
Good luck to all of us!

Yes, it is possible to fill out a new form and 'validate' again.

You are permitted an outland application even if you are here in Canada so you don't need to tell them when you are going back to Turkey. You may wish to assign your husband as an "authorized representative" so that he should get any communication from CIC, it's only one more form and it's a single page. While in hindsight we didn't need to do so, we assigned the sponsor as an authorized representative. It could also be useful if you ever need to call CIC and you are in Turkey at the time, then your husband can do so on your behalf, otherwise they may not speak to him concerning your file.

CIC updates their documents every once in a while. So if you filled out the forms back in October of last year, there's a good chance some may have changed revision level. You need to make sure all your documents still match the current documents from CIC website. If some docs have been updated you'll need to re-do them.

Thanks for the replies!

I prepared all the documents on July, just 2 months ago but I was in Canada when I prepared them..Then I came back to Turkey and living with my parents. I just wanted to check if I have to reprepare some forms to state this or not.

I just enclosed a letter to my application to state this issue..I said recently i was in Canada but I ll shortly go back to Turkey to apply outland.

Do you think that will be enough?

Thank you!

Thanks Truesmile, it's a good idea to assign my husband as my representative since I am in Turkey already!

Dear Rob,

Thanks for the information!

But I did not prepare my file last October, I prepared all of them on this July, just 2 months ago. My concern is on spouse questionnaire they ask "who do you live with" and my answer is " i live with my husband in Canada". That was the fact on July but now I am in Turkey and living with my parents, do I have to re-do this form and the others which asks for the residential address, etc.

Hope I will not have to prepare them again since everything is ready now and most probably my husband will put the option c in the file and submit it. ( ption C was the reason for us to wait for 2 months to submit. I left everything ready and told him just put the option c and send it out..but it took 2 months!, boys are always the same :)
