Question after i get DM while i am traveling

Question:
Now after I got DM
I printed the email and filled the form
But now i am outside Canada visiting my family, and don’t have time to send my passport to local office because of my vacation will end next week.
-Should i give the paperwork to officer in the border?

I have work visa to enter and and work permit

I got the DM while i am traveling for 20 days

There is a deadline to submit all these. If you can't do in time. There is an email for you to report and contact the officer.
