Question about visitor visa

Hi !!!
I applied for my visitor visa ( temporary resident visa) on December 13th, 2016 by paper. But I haven't received yet. I already booked a ticket to VietNam on January 22rd,2017 and when I sent my application I also sent my ticket . What happen with my visa? Can help me, pls !!! I'm going to waiting for your reply! Thanks so much !!

Assuming you are in Canada, you'll have to call CIC, as no one here on the forum can tell you the status of your visa application. Also assume you meant to say you sent your passport, rather than your ticket.

Your application has already exceeded processing times (16 days), so you should be able to get a follow-up.

Thanks for your reply! I already sent my passport when I sent my application. I just called CIC and they said they resented my passport last week, on January 3rd. But I haven't received it yet! I sent my application by express mail.

Oh dear, that's a bit too long since sending out the passport. did you include a return Xpresspost envelope? Did you check the tracking status? Hope you get it soon!
