Applied for my parents visit visa via New portal from Pakistan on 27th Nov 2023. It's been exactly one week and haven't received biometrics request letter. Is this the norm these days?
For background my parents had applied for visit visa in 2019 which was approved and their biometrics was valid till 2029. But their passports were expiring in Dec 2023. Now they got new passports made. And when we applied for the TRV we chose the option to give biometrics again so that the visa validity would be longer than 2029.
They already had their biometrics valid but chose to give new biometrics. Is that causing the delay in biometrics request letter?.
