Question about Visitor Record--Inland Spousal Sponsorship+OWP Quebec Feb 2020

Good afternoon.

We have a question about my status in Canada. I entered as a tourist in December 2019, with a tourist permit for 6 months and we started the sponsorship process in February, as we did not obtain an AOR we decided to request a 4-month extension of my tourist permit, we obtained it in June and it expires in October 2020. Now in the online tool we can see that our request for sponsorship and OWP was received in February, but we have not had more news from the immigration office. Should we request another extension of the tourist permit or is it not necessary since they received the request from Sponsorship and OWP?

We want to avoid possible delays or problems due to loss of legal status in Canada.

You request an other extension 1 month before expiration of the current extension. Can i khnow when did you submit your application? Mine is sent 05 febrary but i can not see it online

We sent it Feb 4th, it was received Feb 6th according to the Online tool. We got the Biometrics letter June 17. And that was the last notice we had on our case.
