I am interested in learning about Canadian work laws for US companies sending sales people to call on / work with Canadian customers. Is a Visa required? If not, is that sales representative or sales manager working in Canada illegally?
Also, if a Canadian sales rep for the same US company conducting business in Canada went out on legal maternity leave for 6 months in Ontario, and was permanently replaced in her specific role by an American living in the US, is this allowed? Or, is there some "grey area"?
