Question about uPack and BSF186/A

Have any other Americans rented a uPack, in addition to exporting/importing your car? If so, how did you handle the BSF186 forms? I was told that I need to fill out two separate versions (not copies) of it - one with a list of stuff in the uPack and the other with the stuff in our car. Does this sound right? Thanks for any input.
