Question about TRV after getting a Visitor Record

Hi everyone,

I recently had to restore my status to a visitor (which was approved) and wanted to know if there is a way for me to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa within Canada. I am unable to find a concrete answer.

Thank you so much for your response Andy! Does this apply in my case since I have a Visitor Record rather than a Study or Work Permit (the first bullet point requirement on that website).
