Dear friends
My wife (sponsored) is pretty much done with collecting and organizing all her supporting documents (police certificates etc.) from India and about to send me this week.

I am the sponsor. I live and work in Canada.

Now my question is about signatures.

All her forms have been signed by her in January. Once I receive her forms next week or so, I will be signing all my forms (as I am waiting on my notice of assessment from CRA for the latest tax filing) and the application is on its way to CIC !

Does it matter about the time gap between signatures of the sponsored and the sponsor? In our case, my wife's forms/documents were all signed January, and mine will be signed later in March. About 2.5 months time gap between our signed dates.

What do you guys think?

Thank you and God bless you.

i don't think it matters. i did the same thing, and there's a 5-6 day gap between the signatures in my app.

don't overthink it! :)

Thanks friend for the reply :)
5-6 days gap is ok. Is 2.5 month ok? I think it is ok, but just want to see what others have to say.
Better safe than sorry :)

I'm sure it's fine. Clearly they have to understand that people are often apart the knees things are being prepared. I wouldn't worry about it
