Question about the name changing

Hi there,

I just sent my application form out for the Canadian citizenship.

I still haven't changed my name (maiden name) yet, and would like to add an English name as the First name.

1. Wondering when is the best time for the name changing, before / after getting the citizenship?

2. Does anyone have ideas about the processing of it? Or I need to find a lawyer to do it in Canada?
