I have a question about the study permit. Right now I am holding study permit, and am a full-time student in a public college. My wife is visiting me with visitor status.
Right now she wants to study in Canada, can she apply for study permit within Canada? She does not want to apply for spousal open work permit, though she is eligible.
When I check mycic account, I choose yes on the question of "are you a spouse or common-law partner of a person who holds study permit in public college" and eventually I can see the checklist and apply for my wife. However, I did not find any eligible regulation on IRCC website.
I am confused. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you so much
