Hi Everyone, my fiancee is moving to Canada in spring from Germany we will get married in Ontario here asap after and start inland sponsorship. My question is how did you guys start settlement in Canada? First I put him on apartment rental agreement and open joint bank account (can we if not married yet?), then get him his drivers license exchanged for Canadian and put him on my car insurance as an occasional driver? Get internet bill together and get him a cell phone plan, what else is needed to be done? Also we need to extend his temporary resident status before 6 months but is it 6 months within 365 days in Canada or calendar year or every time he enters the country 6 months restart? Thx in advance.
