Hi everyone
I received an email today Titled: ready for visa
from cic.gc.ca
The email listed 4 steps.
Step 1 : update you application
Step 2 : Determine if you need to submit your passport(s)
Step 3: Prepare your documents
Step 4: Submit your Documents
.
i have 3 questions about this email.

step 1, in my case, no personal information has changed. But still. i want to be extra careful,
do i still have to send them an email to address that nothing has changed?

Second Question is a security concern: there is no update on my account at cic.gc.ca after i received the email. which is a little odd to me, usually i receive email after the update on my account at cic.gc.ca(from previous application, study permit, work permit, i do log in to my account quite often).
considering average processing time is 6 month. I submitted my Application on June 19th, and received the ready for visa email today 21 August. it's only been a tiny little bit over 2 months. How can i tell if this is a fraud?

Third Question: does this email means the PR application is basically approved?

Thanks
Sam

They don't send you an update online for PPR.
Yes people do get PPR within 2 months, sometimes even within 1 month. Nothing to worry about.

Third Question: does this email means the PR application is basically approved?
Yes

And congrats.
