i am sending out my visa this week and i’m sooo excited! however, my husbands documents that were authorized/translated by a notary public came in a folder with the name of the company on it. i feel as if i should keep all the documents in the folder so that they are kept the way they were given to us and include the information that is on the folder.
i know that folders are not supposed to be used when submitting the visa’s, and this folder is also bigger than all the other papers, so putting it in its proper place on the checklist wouldn’t seem right as it wouldn’t “fit in” properly if that makes sense. it would make more sense to go at the back of all the documents, i’m just worried it will be “wrong” or get missed.
please let me know if you have any advice or tips!

CIC clearly says no folders, just use paper clips to put the documents together. I've used small paper clips in my application, no issues. Just make sure you organize the application in order like it says on the checklist.

I know that, but the folder itself has information on it about the notary public so I am just worried that’s important
Once you send your application with a reputable courier company, they will use a good quality parcel, what are you worrying about? How do you think lawyers send important documents through mail? Don't overthink too much;) Just do what CIC tells you to do.

What you could do is put thin cardboard on both ends of your application and slide it in the parcel;) This should protect your important documents from damage.

I am sure the translated documents too have to specify information about the translator and his qualifications as an authorised person. So that would do the job.
