Question about Proof of Fund

Hi everyone. I'm at 464 and waiting optimistically for the next draw. In the mean time, I am preparing docs for submission in case of ITA . Could anyone let me know if we can bring more cash when arrive in Canada (more than the amount we declace in Proof of Funds question) - say 50.000 CAD when declared only 25.000 CAD. Or should I go back and change the number I selected for Proof of Funds question.

Anything over $10 000 must be declared to customs.

I don't think you need to go back and change the amount if you're bringing more than you said.

You don't need to change the number you selected for the proof of funds question. As long as the figure you have stated there meets the requirement for your family size you'll be good.

You can definitely bring more funds if you like, as long as you declare the amount in your possession to customs upon arrival (since it will be more than 10 kCAD)
