Question About Police Certificate

Hi everyone,

I was wondering whether or not the PA needs to send an original police certificate? Would a notarized photocopy suffice? The checklist doesn't make it super clear whether a photocopy or the original document is required. Has anyone sent a photocopy of the certificate and encountered any problems?

Original are recommend when you are sending the application package at first , if your application is in process photo copy is okay

So if I have already submitted a photocopy with my application when I mailed it, will it be returned back to me?

I don't believe they will returned your package, but I can't say for they won't .

I haven't submitted it yet but was wondering if it would be returned if I submitted a photocopy.

Send the notarized one. We got the police check then sent it to be notarized. When you get notarized back send that in. It takes place of original being a legal document

So notarize it and then photocopy it? Or photocopy the document first and then get the photocopy notarized?
