Hi everyone! I have a question about having my fingerprints done and sending them to the FBI for a police certificate.
Now, I had my fingerprints done about a year ago (I'm still here on an extended visitor visa) at a fingerprinting place in Victoria. I explained what I needed to the gentleman (fingerprints taken to send to the FBI in the US for a police certificate for my PR app) and he kept assuring me that he knew what he was doing. He took my fingerprints digitally and then he said I'd recieve my police certificate in about a week. This did not sound right to me and I said as much to him, but he just kept assuring me he'd done this before. About a week later I get a police certificate from the Ontario RCMP stating my clear record in Canada... obviously. Now I'm not sure what to do... should I find a different facility that knows what to do to have new fingerprints taken? How do people generally do this? Any help at all is appreciated.
Also, could anyone point me in the right direction for the Outland Application forms? All I'm finding on the CIC website is the Generic Application form.
Thank you.
