Question about Online TRV

Hi. I'm applying for a TRV online and there is a mandatory document called "Proof of Relationship (required)"

I am going there as a tourist and so only have air tickets and hotel booking confirmations. It gives the following options:

You must provide proof of your relationship with your host or family member. This can include:

a marriage certificate
Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM5409)Opens a new window
a birth certificate
an official document naming you as a parent
a copy of the inside back cover of the inviter’s passport showing the inviter’s parents, if applicable

I cannot leave this section without uploading a document. What do I do?

Go back to your questions. Make sure you selected Tourism not friends and family visit.

Then review all the other questions.

The tool is asking for proof of relationship because you stated (somewhere) you were visiting someone in Canada.
