Hello Seniors,

I was wondering if you could help me to find an answer. I have seen some one got a rejection because his offer letter doesn't say permanent anywhere. please correct me if i'm wrong

I'm working as sales supervisor on LMIA (NOC B).

Employer had open LMIA approved before he recruited me on offer letter which only states contract duration for 2 years and got my 2 years work permit approval with the same offer letter but doesn't specify permanent any where. Whereas, I managed to get the reference letter with my LMIA number and it also says my job is permanent.

Do you think this would be a problem?

Asivad & seniors please help

It appears to be the case that your offer letter must have the words Permanent, full time and non-seasonal. If your offer letter has those, should not be a problem.

job offer letter does not mean the original job offer letter. To meet the requirements of "arranged employment," you need:
1) LMIA
2) Job offer letter - employer offers you a permanent, full-time position contingent upon your obtaining permanent resident status.

The job offer letter is different from the reference letter, which attests to your past work experience (not your future employment). Make no mistake, they are 2 different documents.
