Question about Notice of Assessment for 2017

Hello everyone,

I sent inland spousal sponsorship application on January 30, 2018, and CIC recevied on January 31, 2018. I sponsor my wife.

I only sent my 2016 Notice of Assessment, and a letter from my employer confirming my employment, salary, and hours. I haven't recevied my 2017 T4 to file 2017 income tax .

Do i need to include my 2017 Notice of Assessment?

Will CIC officer ask for my 2017 Notice of Assessment later?

Do you know the rule for NOA requirements? For example, if applications receive in April 30 2018, you have to include the 2017 Notice of Assessment.

No, they will not ask for your 2017 NOA.

You have to include the most recent NOA you have at the time of applying. There is no date cut-off.

Thank you!! I just got an email from CIC requesting for original copy of NOA or Print out C, so I chose the latter and will be sending express mail tomorrow as they need it within 15 days. This helps a lot as I'm sending in the 2016 NOA.

Please I need some help.... I just got my landing last October and now I'm sponsoring my husband I send the application but t was returned because there need the section A declaration form and also a NOA I did my tax but it has a 0 income but when I did my humanitarian and compassionate I sent them a job letter stating that I was working but I didn't had a sin number but I was working how can I write the letter explaining to them about the NOA... PS if have a job now
