My husband is sponsoring me to live in Canada and I am living in the US right now. After my application is accepted and I am granted residency to Canada, how long do I have before I have to move up there? Do they give me a month or more before I have to pack up my things and move? So many questions going through my head. Thank you for your answers.

You need to land within a year of your medical. You don't necessarily need to move at that point; you can land and then return to the US to wrap up your affairs.

So I could go have the interview at the boarder and then come back and finish my two week notice and start to move my stuff then?

Will I be able to still visit before I accept my PR? Or if I accept my PR can I still live in the US and just travel back and forth until I find a job?

I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions, but I have one more clarifying one. Can I travel back and forth to visit Canada with out landing yet? I have a birthday party this weekend in Canada and I just got my letter stating I have been accepted. I'm freaking out because i can't move yet or leave my job.
