Hi, I recently graduated from University of Alberta. With that in mind, I had lived in Canada for the past 5 years on a study permit (a medical exam was required before I came here to study). I am currently living in Alberta with a 3 year post graduation work permit valid through 2016. I am also recently married to a Canadian born and raised citizen and now going through family class immigration process.
I have asked around panels of physicians eligible to do (an upfront) medical exam for immigration. As they are quiet costly, and as a newlywed couple starting out, we would like to reduce our expenses as much as possible. My question is, are there any exemptions to this medical exam?
I am just asking out of curiousity. If it needs to be done, I will get it done.
