Hello everyone!

My name is Paula, and I am a future International Student in Canada.

I've applied for a 8 month program at Niagara College, Ontario, and I have both my letter of acceptance and my VISA approval letter with me.

My flight is booked for June 30th, and my classes start in September 5th - I have proof of funds that I can sustain my stay for the entire study period, plus these two extra months, and for a couple of months after my studies finish too. I am arriving early because I am sharing a house with three other friends/students and our lease begun last month, I still have to set up my room entirely along with taking care of opening a bank account and whatnot, and I still want to enjoy some free time to get to know the area, before I need to crack down on studies in September and my free time is gone.

My question is, my program has health insurance included in its fees, for both terms, HOWEVER, I have been trying to find out if I will need to also show proof of any extra health/traveler's insurance for the July-September period I'm not covered by my school at POE, or if that's just a matter of personal preference... What do you guys think? Have you been in a similar situation?

That aside, I believe I have all the paperwork needed for POE with me.
Besides LOA, approval letter, passport and bringing all the supporting documents I used to apply for the visa, I also plan on bringing my tuition fee payment receipt, a copy of the house lease, rent receipts, and an updated bank statement to show I still have the funds.

Thank you in advance for reading about my situation, and for any help!
