Question about Interview...please help

Hello, I'm an August applicant but am making a separate thread as my situation seems a little unique. Hopefully somebody has a little insight.

My husband who is in Haiti received a telephone call today asking him to come to the embassy for an interview this Thursday!!! This is so fast! We were expecting they would want an interview because we have an age difference but i thought they would give a few weeks notice! I had a ticket booked to visit him next month, at which time I would have had a package put together of more pics, correspondence, supporting evidence etc. I'm scrambling to put that all together now and changed my ticket to fly to haiti Wednesday. I will be able to give him everything and go to port au prince with him.

This caugh me so off guard! I havent heard of interviews being scheduled with such little notice . Does it mean anything negative????

Oh...i should add, they emailed both my consultant and myself listing items my husband should bring too the interview:

For the interview request itself, it is pretty normal, it is about time to process applicants applied in August, though it still depends on which VO you are dealing with, some is much slower than others.

Anyway, good luck on the interview. Don't be too nervous, relax, just be yourself and answer all questions truthfully.
